A compelling, entertaining, and ultimately unprovocative, “off-the-record” interview with a few doctors.

Non sequitur griping about installing DivX
Now it's asking me to accept something.. "I accept"..
Your thought process is so transparent. It's like "move mouse with hand.. prepare index finger to click 'accept' button, andddd.. ok click!"
I didn't say that!
I know, it's a hyperbole.
No it's not! Do you even know what a hyperbole is?
Yes. It's an exaggerated metaphor used to convey how outlandish something is.
Oh, I was thinking of "onomatopoeia"...

Oh iPhone, You're the Aggressive Dreamwoman to my...
(photo c/o Gizmodo) You’re planning to steal me away, aren’t you? You might not be fooled by my ambivalent ardor for my LG enV 9900, but I see through your wiles: You upgraded to 16GB - and your $499 ($399?) price point says “high maintenance, but not out of your league so show me those moves, cowboy.” As you brushed by me, I managed not to be overtaken by your AIRy...

Overheard @ Autodesk
James: This machine's ready to take a two-mile walk off a one-mile pier.
John: That's the story of my life.

A well-constructed idea. I’d be surprised if it wasn’t being seriously considered by Yahoo in some capacity.

Amendment of the previous conversation:
I’m more convinced of this, actually: Ag2CO3 + 4NH3 + H2O => 2[Ag(NH3)2]+ + 2OH- + CO2

[RPS] Warcracked III →
In recent news concerning games I haven’t played in a long, long time, the latest Warcraft III adds official no-CD support. That was probably the most annoying thing about updating, since they wouldn’t let you on to Battlenet without the latest version. Maybe I’ll try my hand at some DotA sometime soon and see how “epic” my “fail” is when I try running...

Oh looky, it’s a Guitar Hero game that uses… get this.. REAL guitars! Yes, it combines the fun of Guitar Hero with the joy of getting to play something that isn’t plastic with colorful buttons. The downside (for some people)? You will need a real guitar to play the game. Oh, and the game is for Mac/PC, not consoles. Still.. it would definitely help my guitar learning. Link...

Yellowtail →
From the site: Yellowtail (1998-2000: Golan Levin) is an interactive software system for the gestural creation and performance of real-time abstract animation. Yellowtail repeats a user’s strokes end-over-end, enabling simultaneous specification of a line’s shape and quality of movement. Each line repeats according to its own period, producing an ever-changing and responsive display...

Text + Image + CSS3 = Crazy Delicious →
CSS3’s “::selection” pseudo-element at work. Creative implementation, and contrary to cutaneous belief, I feel like this could have a significant use at some point in the future. … when I figure out what that is, I’ll Creative Commons it and let you know.

[Digg] 15 Year old Maryland Boy Kills his Entire...
(from the comments)
Cajaks2: Uh i actually knew the kid, nick went to school with him talked to him not so long ago. Knew his little brother greg he was nice, his mom was really nice made good brownies. He was pretty nice a big kid, but didnt seem that weird or deranged just a normal sophomore. Knowing his father, the gun was probably locked up and not loaded, meaning he had to find the gun and load it then kill everyone. How weird i talked to him like a few weeks ago.
theanswer0611: did you catch the recipe for the brownies?
