In the photographic exploration Persona, Jason Travis seeks to answer the age-old question: what do hipsters carry in their pockets? 
It’s difficult to imagine the items as being assembled completely ad hoc, but I don’t believe that’s entirely the point. To me, this identity exploration is more “arrange items you carry around often in a way that defines who you are”. We consume and are more than the sum of ourselves and our avatars. Fascinating.
